This school is a Christian non-profit-making kindergarten. It was founded by the Hong Kong Kindergarten Education Association in 2002 and managed by the Tsuen Wan Baptist Church. The Tsuen Wan Baptist Church started the main school “Tsuen Wan Baptist Church Kindergarten” in 1989, and then took over the branch school “Tsuen Wan Baptist Church Shek Lei Kindergarten” in 2002. These two schools are managed by the same management committee.
Since the beginning of the school, thankful for the great efforts of the whole staff, it has gained the trust and love of parents in the district, laying the foundation for providing quality early childhood education.
School Mission
We believe that God values everyone. Our value does not depend on personal identity, status, education, wealth, wisdom or ability; it comes from God. Therefore, we must provide a learning environment full of love and acceptance to help build children’s self-esteem, self-confidence and self-love. Every student is unique and different. Some have potential while some are fond of learning. Some are slower to learn while some are emotionally unstable. We should all accept and embrace their differences and teach them in accordance with their talents. Love and care are the most basic teaching methods and the basic attitude of educators.
Our Team
To fulfil our mission, front-line teachers are very important, so our school selects teachers very rigorously. The teachers we hire are all professionally qualified and have rich teaching experience. Most of the teachers have already obtained a degree in early childhood education. Our school also has teachers specialized in English and Mandarin as well as native-speaking English teachers. Our staffing ratio is sufficient.
